Until It's Not

Isn't it funny when you try to help a friend rectify a small mistake and they misconstrue your efforts as being "nitpicky" and a "know-it-all"? Instead of understanding that this is only intended to help, they become offended.
Let's just say that you know someone who sometimes mis spells things. This may seem inconsequential, but it definitely effects how you are perceived by others in life.
Wouldn't you, as a friend, politely suggest that this person make the necessary changes so as to improve their own understanding of spelling correctly and/or properly constructing a sentence? Or would you rather have someone who isn't your friend notice and criticize you for it?
I would expect a good friend to point out things I need to work on.
It shows they GIVE A DAMN ABOUT ME.
When it comes to my dear friends, I am not a critical person, however, I will give advice and guidance when I feel it is needed. Especially when I care enough to do so.
I certainly won't allow myself to be falsely labeled as "nitpicky" or a "know-it-all". I don't claim to know everything. As a matter of fact, the wise person knows that he knows nothing at all. This blog is intended to clarify any misunderstandings.
From now on, i'll be more careful with what I say. It seems that some people are too hypersensitive and insecure to understand my good intentions.
